Research Area
Prof. D. Lazar is a Professor of Finance in School of Management and Finance Officer i/c at Pondicherry University, working in Pondicherry University the last one decade after serving Loyola College, Chennai. He is a qualified Cost Accountant with a post graduate diploma in Management and a recipient of the best researcher award for research in the area of Social Science. He worked in Bhutan under TCS of Colombo Plan on deputation by Government of India. Organized four International Conferences on Micro Finance.
He has published thirty-five research articles, six edited volumes and nine monographs. He had delivered invited lectures in various Universities in USA, Mexico and visited Italy and Germany. His areas of research are: Corporate Finance, Market Microstructure, Asset Pricing, Micro Finance, Financial Inclusion, Financial Literacy, Financial Derivatives and Cost Management.
