Research Area

Group actively involving in creating new chiral molecules for both asymmetric organ catalysis and transition metal catalyzed reactions to generate a library of chiral molecules. Simple and convenient methods have been developed through C-C bond forming reactions promoted by Lewis / Bronsted acid to construct
nitrogen heterocycles, natural products, and natural product-like molecules. Synthesized natural products, natural product-like molecules, and small molecules have been evaluated for their anti-cancer activity. Our research group will continue to explore the development of new chiral catalysts, new synthetic
methodologies, and drug discovery.
