Prof. B. Charumathi is Professor and Head, Department of Management Studies, specialised in Accounting, Finance (including risk management, governance and financial reporting), Entrepreneurship (including women), HR and Project Management, banking and insurance. Currently serving as Board member of Pondicherry University Stepup Hub (PUSH). Loves to train Human Resources and mentor startups. Currently, carrying out MHRD sponsored SPARC project on “IFRS into the world of SMEs” with QS ranked Australian Universities. Published 3 books and 142 research papers in peer reviewed journals. Guided 8 Ph.Ds. Has Rich experience in administrative roles such as women cell, students’ welfare, placement and corporate relations, database coordination. Recipient of UGC -JRF, Young Commercist Award (ICA), Young Research Award (IAA), CAYT (AICTE). Resource person for many professional training programmes for government and corporate.
