Dr. Arunkumar Dhayalan

Research Area

Dr. Dhayalan completed his PhD in 2009 with special distinction from the Jacobs University, Germany. He joined Pondicherry University as an Assistant Professor in the year 2010, and he became a Professor in the year 2024. Dr. Dhayalan is working in two major areas, viz. (i) Epigenetic signaling and (ii) RNA helicases. His lab has been funded by DBT-Wellcome Trust, DBT, UGC, CSIR, SERB-DST and BRNS. He has published more than 50 articles in reputed journals.
