Research Area
I am working as Assistant Professor in Department of Green Energy Technology. Received PhD from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi with specialization in Solar Thermal Engineering. I am teaching the subjects Solar thermal energy, heat transfer and energy management for our M.Tech students. At present, I am operating two research projects in thermal energy storage funded by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Prior to joining Pondicherry University, I was serving as Senior Scientist, Solar Energy Division of Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI), Gujarat. I also worked as General Manager (Projects) and Head (R&D) in Cargo Power and Infrastructure Limited, Gujarat. I have authored a book called ‘Solar Thermal Energy’ published by New Age International Publishers, New Delhi.
