Our esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. P. Prakash Babu congratulated Prof. P. T. V. Lakshmi (PI), Dept. of Bioinformatics and Prof. A. Annamalai (Co-PI), Dept. of Food Science and Technology for receiving the sanction order of an Extramural Small Research Grant by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India, with a total approved budget of ₹1.54 crore, including ₹84.01 lakhs being released as the first-year installment towards the interdisciplinary project. He wished them for the successful beginning of the three-year scientific journey in research vision blending biology, nanotechnology, omics science, and machine learning to combat uropathogenic infections througheco-friendly nanocomposites.
