The initiative, jointly led by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the Ministry of Women & Child Development (MoWCD), aims to organise more than 10 lakh health camps from 17th September to 2nd October.
The workshop aimed at need assessment of women housekeeping staff of the University and had specific sessions by experts on Ergonomics & Injury Prevention, Chemical & Skin Safety, Nutrition, Chronic Disease Prevention & Reproductive and Mental Health & Self-Esteem and Relaxation & Mindfulness. It was attended by 55 women housekeeping staff and by enhancing their awareness regarding health, self-care and wellness, the workshop was successful in advancing women’s health and family empowerment, thereby paving the way for a Viksit Bharat.
