Prof. Dr. Subramania Angaiah, Centre for Nanoscience and Technology, Pondichery University, Puducherry-605 014, India has been actively engaged in research and teaching in the area of Materials Science and Technology, Polymer Science and Engg., Nanoscience and Technology. He is working in the areas of Batteries and Supercapacitors, 3rd Generation Solar Cells, Waste to Energy, Bio-imaging, Bio-Sensors, Industrial and Waste Water Treatment, Corrosion and Surface Engg., Anti-Corrosive Paints, etc.
He has been named among the top 2% scientists globally in the subject-wise analysis conducted by a team of Scientists at Stanford University, USA.
He has visited KIST, Seoul, South Korea and worked as a Visiting Scientist in the development of Lithium-ion batteries and DSSC. Further, he has research collaboration with Prof. John Zhanhu Guo, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA and Prof. Chao Yan, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang 212003, China, Saradh Prasad Rajendra, Dept. of Physics, College of Science, King Saud University, Riyadh -11451, Saudi Arabia.
He is a Fellow/Life Member of several academic societies. He has received several Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards which includes AICTE-Career Awards, UGC-BSR Mid-Career Award, PU-Best Teacher Award, CSIR-Best Technology Award, KRF-BP-Fellowship, etc.
He is an Associate Editor/Member of the Editorial Advisory Board/Editorial Board of several international journals. He has published more than 200 research articles in peer- reviewed journals with a citation index ~10855 (h-index 56), and also holds several patents in US, EU and India. He is the author of five National and one international books.
