At the outset, I am proud to say I am Alexander von Humboldt fellow, Germany.

I have done my BSc in Chemistry (1999) and MSc in Physical Chemistry (2001) from University of Madras, and then did Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry (2006) from University of Hyderabad. Following, moved to Univ of Potsdam (Germany), ENS Paris (France), and Univ College Dublin (Ireland) for the postdoctoral resear work (till 2010).
In August 2010, I joined herein Pondicherry University as Assistant Professor in Dept of Chemistry, and serving as Full Professor in the department from November 2021. I teach Physical Chemistry courses and focusing theoretical/ computational chemistry research. I have guided 4 PhD students, 45 publicatiins (h-index=14) and 2 funded research projects. Apart, I have organized 2 national level8 chemistry conferences as convener.
