Research Area
Joined Pondicherry University in 2010. Teaches papers on money and banking, econometrics, Indian economy. Held academic-administrative positions in the University such as Registrar (i/c), Finance Officer (i/c) and Head, Department of Economics. Author of two popular books and a large number of research papers published in professional journals. At present, also, a Member of 6th State Finance Commission of Odisha, and visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode. Prior to joining Pondicherry University, worked as an economist in Reserve Bank of India for nearly a decade.
