Dr. A. Bharathy, MBA, M.Phil, PhD is Assistant Professor and Head (i/c) of the Department of Management at Pondicherry University Community College, Puducherry. With over 22 years of teaching experience in Marketing and Human Resource Management, she believes that “There is no one giant step that does it, but it is a lot of single steps.” A University of Madras MBA rank holder and a 2016 U.S. International Visitor Leadership Program awardee, she has led an ICSSR-funded research project, won numerous Best Paper awards, and presented over 60 papers at international and national conferences. She has coordinated placements since 2005 and the US Community College Exchange Programme since 2013. Her service to society includes her role as Chairwoman of CII-IWN Puducherry for 2025-26, where she champions leadership development, workforce readiness and women’s wellbeing, along with community outreach with her students.
