During the meeting, Professor Prakash Babu briefed the Honourable Vice President of India and Chancellor of Pondicherry University on the ongoing academic and developmental initiatives of the University and also discussed plans for the forthcoming Convocation of the University.
The discussions also focused on the expansion of the University, introduction of innovative student-centric and employment – oriented academic programmes, enhancement of research and infrastructure facilities, and various strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Pondicherry University’s role as a Centre of Excellence in higher education.
