Program

Students & research scholars' competitive events on Bio-Gene-Sys 2018 on 27th of February, 2018 will comprise of -

  1. Brief Oral Presentation (with Powerpoint) of scientific concepts by undergraduate & post-graduate students
  2. Science Quiz for undergraduate and post-graduate students
  3. Oral/platform presentation by Research Scholars
  4. Poster Presentation by Research Scholars

National Symposium on Trends in Biochemistry in Post-Genomic Era, will comprise of invited talks broadly around the following themes -

  1. Integrating Systemic Knowledge to Understand Pathophysiology
  2. Brain: Genetic Diversity, Cellular Mechanisms and Behavior

Abstracts are invited from Research Scholars and Faculties interested in presenting their research during the event. The research presentation can be either as poster or as Oral/Platform presentation by choice of the presenter.

In addition, in order to encourage scientific temperament in school students, pre-Event Competitions will be organized for students of Class -VII-XII, at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Pondicherry University Campus during 6th - 20th February, 2018 comprising of -

  1. Concepts in Posters
  2. Concepts in Models
  3. Essay Writing Competition

Prizes in all categories will consist of a Memento and a Certificate. A small cash reward maybe included depending on the total funds received.

All participation is by registration only. Offline registration for the events open on 20-12-2017. Online registration through this website will be opening soon.
