Dr. Sangmesh has completed BE in Mechanical Engineering, MTech in Energy Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering Sciences from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. His area of doctoral research is development of a novel cooling system used for electronic cooling application. As visionary professional, served in academics, Incubation linked management overall 08 years of professional experience including Research. Established numerous industry academic partnership and collaboration with foreign universities. His Research interest includes Solar Thermal, Thermal Management, Piezoelectric Materials, Heat Transfer, Nano Materials, Cryogenic Heat Treatment.

He is State Joint Secretary of the ISTE Karnataka Section. He is also an educational columnist in print and electronic media. He was engaged in planning, implementation and monitoring of Incubation activities at JIT and BMSIT in addition to the Teaching.  He is also a Mentor for Nitte Incubation Centre supported by Atal Innovation Mission, Govt. of India
