Prof. P. Lazarus Samraj, one of the leading Political Scientists and Political Analysts from South India is having more than 25 years of teaching and research experience at the University levels. Prof. Lazarus is known for his dedicated teaching, problem solving research, analytical ability and astute leadership skill. He had published eight books and more than twenty articles in national and international journals. He is credited with more than 50 popular current affair writings in prominent national dailies. He was instrumental in establishing the prestigious UMISARC and Centre for South Asian Studies at Pondicherry University and also by being the Head of the Department of Politics and International Studies, he started two years regular M.A Political Science at Pondicherry University. He has organized numerous national and international conferences and workshops at the University level. He is blessed with extra-ordinary communication skills in both Tamil and English. He is regularly involved in motivational and leadership programmes at college and University level. As a resource person he had been invited by a number of Universities to deliver key note address and special lectures throughout India. His lectures are specialized in Globalization, Pluralism, National Integration, addressing the menace of Terrorism, India’s Nation Building Experience, Democracy in India, Research Design, Leadership skill, Women Empowerment etc. which have attracted the admiration of many audiences. Prof. Lazarus is a positive humanist, working for world peace and inter-religious harmony.
