Dr. K. JEEVARATNAM, Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Pondicherry University, has done M.Sc. Biochemistry at JIPMER, Pondicherry, and Ph. D. in Biochemistry at IISc, Bangalore. Served for 23 years and 6 months in Defence R&D Organization, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India and presently more than 14 years at Pondicherry University. Publications – 99 in both Indian and Foreign Journals; Ph.D. – 9 in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and 3 in Biochemistry from University of Mysore. Awards – Young Scientist Award of M.P. Council of Science & Technology, Shakuntala Amir Chand Prize of Indian Council of Medical Research, FELLOW of Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists and SERC Visiting Fellowship from DST.
