Sri Sankaradass Swamigal School of Performing Arts started functioning from the academic year 1988-1989 and has been renamed as School of Performing Arts during the year 2007. The school has come to existence on December 2007 in view of conducting interdisciplinary teaching and research activities in the Performing Arts.
