Dr. R. Krishna

About
Research Area

I am basically structural biologist and working on the structures of proteins, protein-protein interactions and protein-ligand interactions to understand the macromolecules thoroughly at the atomic level through computation and X-Crystallography. Our lab is working on proteins involved in cancers and tuberculosis. I have completed my MSc, Mphil and Ph.D in the department of crystallography and Biophysics, University of Madras. I have joined as research associate at Prof. M. Vijayan’s Lab , Molecular Biophysics Unit, Indian Institute of science, Bangalore. There I got trained in macromolecular crystallography.
