Dr.P.G.Arul is presently working as Professor in the Department of International Business, School of Management, PONDICHERRY UNIVERSITY, Puducherry 605014 since 21st July 2010. Before joining in this University he worked for seven years as Assistant Professor, in the Department of Commerce, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (University of Delhi). New Delhi. For his credit he has more than 18 years of teaching and research experience. He has done his Ph.D., under University Grants Commission- Junior Research Fellowship Scheme (UGC-JRF) in Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. He has passed State Level Education Test (SLET) during the year 1997. His area of Teaching and Research specialization include International Trade and Logistics, International Human Resource Management and Foreign Direct Investments and International Taxation. He has presented 100+ research papers in the UGC sponsored International and National Seminar/Conferences. For his credit he has published 86 research articles in leading national and international journals and written three books titled (1) International Logistic Management and (2).Compensation Management and (3).Fundamentals of Human Resource Management. He is also edited Three books titled, (1) Empowering MSMEs for Global Competitiveness (2) MSMEs and Make in India and (3) India’s Foreign Relation and its Impact Trade Relation with Emerging Economies published by leading publishers in New Delhi. Presently he has been guiding Ph.D. & M.Phil., research scholars for their research. 5 of them awarded with Ph.D., Four of them in the process of submission of thesis. He has successfully completed (1) UGC-Major Research Project Titled” An Evaluation of Private Sectors Participation in Higher Educational Institution to Develop Employability Skill among Students”, (2) ICSSR Sponsorship Major Research Project titled “Developing a Sustainable model to Discharge Corporate Social Responsibility by SMEs, (3) Department of Science and Technology (DST ) Sponsored Major Research Project titled “Technology Transfer and Commercialization of Patent Rights in Universities and Research and Development R&D) Institutions in India and (4) ICSSR – IMPRESS Research Project titled “GST Effects on India’s Foreign Trade and Investment for Policy Making” He has successfully completed his Associateship with Indian Institute of Advance Study (IIAS) Shimla. He is also been awarded as Best Professor in International Business by Amity School of Business very recently (Jan. 2020).
