Research Area
Dr. S. Mohane Coumar, a native of Pondicherry, has received his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Kerala University, Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has over six years postdoctoral research training at National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan on anti-cancer drug design & development,. Two of his inventions are in Clinical development for the treatment of cancer in Taiwan. His current research includes, anti-cancer and anti-microbial drug discovery using various computational approaches such as computer-aided drug design, NGS data analysis and systems biology.
