Dr. Lakhimai Mili , MA, PGDTE and Ph. D is a professor in the Department of English, Pondicherry University. She holds a doctorate degree in Indian Writing in English from North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya. She has presented number of papers in Seminars and Conferences in South Asian countries. She has published a good number of articles in Journals and chapters in edited books. She has taught papers such as, Poetry from Chaucer to Milton, Communicative English, English as a Second Language, English for Science and Technology, Functional Written Communication, Media Studies and Indian Writing in English at Pondicherry University. She has edited two books titled, “English Literature in the Digital Era” and “Facets of the Millennial Reality: Critical Appraisals of the Writings of Rita Nath Keshari. She has also Co-authored a book titled, “Counter Discourse, Identity and Sumud in Mahmoud Darwish’s Poetry. She is also Chairperson for the Legal Service Clinic for the Students of North East Region office at Pondicherry University, a part of Union Territory of Pondicherry Legal Service Authority.( UTPLSA).
