Profile of School of Management

School of Management is one of the Schools of Excellence in the campus primarily focusing on the business related courses since the very inception of the University. The School offers the programs with a total placement focus. The school consists of six departments viz:

Department of Management Studies    Department of Commerce
Department of Economics                       Department of Tourism Studies
Department of Banking Technology      Department of International Business

The Department of Commerce is one of the popular departments in the School of Management. It aims at training the commerce graduates with professional skills required to handle the Finance functions in corporate enterprise. The PG program has been designed to impart knowledge and skills required to take up activities like Investment and Portfolio Management, Security Market Operations, Forex dealings and also to take up societal needs like entrepreneurial venture, micro finance besides general management. Apart from that the department offers M. Phil and Ph. D programs.
