Instructions To Candidates For Getting The official Transcripts

The request for getting the Official Transcripts should be in the prescribed Application form (can be downloaded & used) and the request should be addressed to: Deputy Registrar (Academic-II), Pondicherry University, Puducherry. [ Application form - PDF File ]

1. All the entries in the application form must be written neatly and legibly by the candidate.

2. Original certificates for which transcripts required must be enclosed with the application for verification and return. Separate self addressed envelope may be attached for return of original certificates by Registered post.

3. After verification, transcripts will be attested by the Registrar and sent directly to the institutions, as desired by the candidate. For this purpose duly addressed envelopes should be enclosed for affixing Registrar’s signature on the cover after sealing.

4. It is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the original certificates and transcripts from the section after due acknowledgement.

5. The fee prescribed for the issue of Transcripts is:

Registration: Rs.200/- Each copy: Rs.25/-

The fee should be remitted in the Indian Bank, Pondicherry University Branch, Puducherry 605 014, in the Account No.201 (pink colour challan) or by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Pondicherry University, payable at Puducherry.
