|Best presentations from the Research Scholars would be rewarded. There would be three awards for the Poser presentations. All those participants who have not been awarded a Ph.D. degree are eligible to be considered for this award.|
|We would be able to reimburse the travel expenses (limited to return sleeper class fare) for research scholars who have applied for it. If you are one of these scholars please do not forget to collect the TA bill-form from the Registration desks and attach the printouts of the tickets used for your journey. Please bring your bank details for transferring the amount.|
|The Poster Introduction session, scheduled at 04:00PM on 8th February, would be run in parallel only if the need arises, depending upon the number of participants present. If you are presenting a Poster, you may put up the poster anytime on the first day itself as the Poster Display boards would be available from the inauguration to the conclusion of the Seminar, though the the Poster presentation is scheduled on 9th February.|

Integrated approach to understand and quantify a geological process in context of the Earth system is the recent trend in the Earth Sciences. This National Seminar, under UGC-SAP-DRS-II, is an effort to bring together researchers of all knowledge domains in the Earth Sciences to discuss the pertinent outstanding questions today and build strategies and partnerships to evolve new research directions transcending the discipline boundaries. This seminar intends to provide platform to the young researchers to showcase their results and also seeks to benefit from the experiences of the established researchers.
All the contributory papers would be divided into seven technical sessions revolving around one umbrella theme with a key-note lecture in each session. Poster session is being planned in such a way that everybody gets enough time to discuss each presentation.
