Integrated approach to understand and quantify a geological process in context of the Earth system is the recent trend in the Earth Sciences. This National Seminar, under UGC-SAP-DRS-II, is an effort to bring together researchers of all knowledge domains in the Earth Sciences to discuss the pertinent outstanding questions today and build strategies and partnerships to evolve new research directions transcending the discipline boundaries. This seminar intends to provide platform to the young researchers to showcase their results and also seeks to benefit from the experiences of the established researchers.

All the contributory papers would be divided into seven technical sessions revolving around one umbrella theme with a key-note lecture in each session. Poster session is being planned in such a way that everybody gets enough time to discuss each presentation.
