Applications are invited for the following purely temporary position in the project "Setting up of National Facility for Geochronology and Isotope Geosciences at Pondicherry University" sponsored by the DST. the tenure of the above project is for about six months only.

Scientist – B 14,000 + HRA	M.Sc. in Geology /Applied Geology/ Marine Geology with three years experience in Geochemical/ Isotope Geology/ Geochronological research and passed NET/GATE	Ph.D. in Isotope Geology/ Geochemistry, Isotope Geochronology, Research experience in Thermal ionization, Mass-spectrometer Lab, Conversant with chemical treatment and preparation of geological / meteorite samples for Sr. & Nd. isotope analysis using the TIMS.
